Gmail Notifiers
GCount is a menu bar and/or Dock item that displays the unread status of the inbox of a recently popular email service. It allows to specify an alternate web browser for gCount to use for external links (eg. Open Inbox, Compose Mail). gCount uses your proxy settings, if you use one. Audio files are now scanned for proper extensions.
Gmail Notifier is a Windows program with two optional components: COMPONENT 1 sits in the Windows system tray and notifies a user when Email arrives in a Gmail inbox, and COMPONENT 2 associates “mailto” links with Gmail.

GotMailG is a widget for the Dashboard found in Mac OS X 10.4 (and now 10.5 Leopard). It uses the Gmail Atom feed (XML) to determine the number of unread messages in a users Gmail account. This is then displayed using a simple and clear interface that is designed to occupy minimal Dashboard space. GotMailG is Open Source and provided to the public free of charge under the GPL license. GotMailG uses SSL (the same protocol used to transmit credit card numbers) whenever your password is transmitted. Your password is never sent in the clear over the internet. In addition, the password is encrypted when stored in the widget preferances to prevent local users from accessing it.
You’ve Got Gmail is a Gmail notifier plugin for Trillian Pro. You can manage your Gmail accounts, see the list of the accounts (with new emails number) in the My Mail Accounts section of Trillian and get notified when a new e-mails arrive via systray popup windows.
